Angelica Segura-Brandi (Yaqui/ Chicana)
Community Engagement Coordinator
Angelica has worked in non-profit organizations since 2019 with volunteer experience throughout San Francisco. She grew up in the Mission District with strong communal ties, and went on to obtain a BA in Creative Writing with a minor in American Indian Studies. Angelica is also a singer, writer, artist and DJ, whose creations are inspired by her Indigenous Cultural Traditions and community of the Mission. She has been interviewed by Bay Area ABC 7 news alongside her collective of all Chicana Women DJ’,s Chulita Vinyl Club, co-curated an altar for Dia De Muertos at San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall and has been published as an editor for the American Indian Health & Services: Santa Barbara Community Wellness Report for in 2022.
